Research Interests and Achievement
1. Nano-chemistry at the liquid-liquid interface
including the development of new measurement methods of the liquid-liquid interface toelucidate the mechanisms of interfacial reactions in solvent extraction and interfacial chiralaggregation, such as a centrifugal liquid membrane (CLM) circular dichroism (CD) method, second harmonic generation-CD method, and Raman optical activity (ROA) method.
2. Development of new analytical principles by using external fields
including laser photophoresis, dielectrophoresis, electromagnetophoresis, magnetophoresis and nano-gap method for micro-particle analysis.
3. Creation of new Magneto-Analytical Chemistry
including novel magnetic mass analysis, and magneto-optical spectroscopy and imaging.
