Call for Paper

The participants who would like to present a paper at the symposium should submit the abstract electronically by e-mail　(yamada_c@chem.sci.osaka-u.ac.jp).

Abstract Preparation
(1) The abstract should be limited to a single A4 page and should be prepared in 12-point Times or Times-Roman, or an equivalent font. The title should be in 14-point Helvetica (or the equivalent). The abstract may include figures, equations, etc., as appropriate. Please do not exceed one page.

(2) Since the abstracts will be printed in black-and-white, please do not use color figures and photos which will make the contrast of the print unclear. Please check by yourself if the contrast is clear enough when printed in black-and-white.

(3) Abstracts should be converted to PDF files prior to submission, as this is the most likely to give abstracts that will look the way that you want (particularly as regards figures). Conversion to PDF can be accomplished using Acrobat, a program which is available at many University computer centers.

(4) If your abstract uses special symbols (e.g., Greek characters) please check carefully that the symbols have been converted properly in the PDF file.

(5) The deadline for submission of abstracts is June 30, 2008.
