OUMS'01 組織委員長 上山 憲一
Under the auspices of the Osaka University International Exchange Program in Macromolecular Science, the fourth Osaka University Macromolecular Symposium (OUMS'01) will be held on November 4 - 7, 2001 in Osaka. The organizing committee is pleased to invite you to attend this symposium and present a poster of your work.
SCOPE The symposium, "Nanostructured Macromolecular Materials", will focus on the topics in rapidly developing studies on the synthesis, characterization and application of organic and inorganic nanostructured macromolecular materials. These materials consist of simple organic and inorganic compounds and polymers, and provide unique properties such as electrical conductivity, electrodeposition, photosensitizers, magnets, gas deposition, macromolecular metal catalyst, sol-gel hybrids, biominerallization, biomaterials assembly, etc. Recent synthetic and analytical studies, theoretical developments, and also industrial research and applications will be discussed.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM The sympo-sium will consist of invited lectures and contributed poster presen-tations.
OFFICIAL LANGUAGE The official language of the symposium is English.
VENUE The symposium will be held in the Icho Kaikan in the Suita Campus of Osaka University, Suita, Osaka, Japan.
REGISTRATION FEE The regis-tration fee for active participants will be 10,000 yen/one person (Academic) and 30,000 yen/one person (Industry). There is no registration fee for student participants.
