Recognition of Polymer Side Chains by Cyclodextrins

Biological macromolecules selectively recognize other low molecular weight and macromolecular species through their side chains to form supramolecular complexes which express various functions necessary for living activities. To understand these phenomena in detail and construct functional supramolecular complexes, this group has been working on the interaction of cyclodextrins with polymer side chains.
