Meeting opening by Prof. Janik.
The meeting was organized by Professor Jerzy Janik at the H. Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences and held at Zakopane in Poland in July 15 – 20. The number of participants was 63 including 42 invited guests. While the formal scientific issue was “Neutron Scattering Spectroscopy and Related Problems”, there were a lot of heated discussions about culture and history.
