The 5th International and 7th China-Japan Joint Symposium on Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis & Exhibition (CATS2008) was held at the Bayshore Hotel near the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics in Dalian, from May 18 to 21, 2008, where Prof. Nakazawa and Inaba gave a plenary lecture. After the meeting, Prof. Inaba visited Prof. You-Ying Di at Liaocheng University, where Prof. Inaba gave a lecture as a Visiting Professor. He also visited Shandon Agricultural University, where Dr. Lan (the current visiting scientist of our Center) was working, to give another lecture.
