This year, our Research Center was heavily involved in ICCT-2010 (the 21st IUPAC International Conference on Chemical Thermodynamics) held in Tsukuba from September 31 to August 6. Prof. Inaba was the Program Chair. He also organized a post conference, ISST-2010 (the 2nd International Symposium on Structural Thermodynamics) at the Senri Life Science Center from August 8 to 10. Many people attended those conferences to discuss about Chemical Thermodynamics. Here, our research activities are reported.
The member of the Steering Committee for our Center consists of Professors Koichi Fukase (natural product chemistry), Toshiaki Munakata (surface chemistry), Yasuhiro Nakazawa (solid state physical chemistry), Yoshichika Onuki (solid state physics), Takahiro Sato (macromolecular assemblies), Atsushi Shinohara (radiochemistry), Haruhiko Takisawa (biological nuclear function), and myself (structural thermodynamics).
