The 66th Calorimetry Conference (CalCon 2011) was held at Turtle Buy Resort in Hawaii, USA from June 14 to 17. This year it was a joint meeting of CalCon and The Japan Society of Calorimetry & Thermal Analysis (JSCTA). The conference sessions were organized by chair persons from CalCon and co-chair persons from JSCTA. In the session of condensed matters, numerous high level thermodynamic researches in relevant to d-, and f-electrons were reported. From Osaka University, Mr. Fukuoka, Mr. Muraoka, and myself have attended and presented their recent research achievements. The next CalCon 2012 will be held at Brazil as a joint program with ICCT 2012.
