Thank you for your attendance !!
ISICC-4 was successfully finished. Thank you very much for your attendance.
Overview
Dates: 10-12, December, 2022
Place: Toyonaka Campus, Osaka University
The 4th ISICC Symposium will be held on 10-12, December, 2022 (updated), at Osaka University, Japan, following the very successful 3rd conference in Leeds (UK, 2019). This conference is also held as the alternative symposium of #256 session in Pacifichem2021, which is unfortunately cancelled.
Ionic crystals that consist of cationic and anionic species are ubiquitous in nature, and their properties are controlled not only by the compositions of ionic species but also by their spatial arrangements. In particular, ionic coordination compounds are expected to exhibit unique properties and functionalities originated from their spatial arrangements in the crystalline state, which are mainly governed by non-covalent interactions between ionic species. Thus, this symposium focusses on the syntheses, structures, and functionalities of discrete coordination systems that are constructed from ionic species controlled via non-covalent interactions. For this purpose, this symposium will be classified by the types of non-covalent interactions, such as hydrogen bonding, π-π and CH-π, metallophilic, and other weak non-covalent interactions. We welcome discrete metal complexes, infinite coordination polymers, non-crystalline compounds, and non-ionic compounds involving ionic species.
