Improvement of Φ 27 mm
Dilution Refrigerator that is Available in Variable Temperature Insert

A top-loading type dilution refrigerator is a useful equipment to perform heat capacity measurements because of its convenience of cooling and sample exchange. However, it is difficult to accomplish stable measurement conditions in usual laboratory condition. In this study, we have improved a top-loading type dilution refrigerator that is available in VTI in order to perform the stable and wide-temperature-range heat capacity measurements from extremely low temperature to 10 K continuously. We have removed some electrical noises and vibrations which come from electrical devices and 3He handling system. Due to this treatment, we made it possible to perform stable and continuous heat capacity measurements.
