International Symposium Material Science Opened by Molecular Degree of Freedom (MDF2012)

International Symposium Material Science Opened by Molecular Degree of Freedom(MDF2012) was held in Miyazaki Phoenix Seagaia Resort. In this symposium, Prof. Nakazawa performed oral presentation as an invited speaker. Dr. Yamashita, Mr. Fukuoka and Ms. Danda performed poster presentations. This workshop focused on molecular based conductor. The conference topics were Dirac cone systems, Chiral materials, π-d systems, Dielectric systems, Thin films, interfaces, and devices, Proton related functionalities, Spin liquid Charge order and Mott transitions, Superconductivity, Field- or photo-induced phenomena, Theory, modeling, and computation, Synthesis of new molecules and molecular materials, Density waves. The number of oral presentation and poster presentation were 48 and 78, respectively. It was really impressive that these various phenomena were realized in molecular based systems.
