Conference Report on The 68th Calorimetry Conference (CALCON2013)

The 68th Calorimetry Conference (CALCON2013) was held from August 18th to August 22th at Atlantic City in the United States. Prof. Watson D. Loh served as the conference chair and about 60 researchers participated in the conference. In the conference, there are six scientific sessions, which are �uBiothermodynamics�v�C�uCondensed matter and Solid State Studies�v�C�uBiopharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Applications�v�C�uAqueous Solutions, Fluid Mixtures, and Polymer�v�C�uDatabases, Global Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation �v�C�uSpecialized Applications of Calorimetry and Thermal Analysis�v. From Osaka University, Prof. Nakazawa, Mr. Yoshimoto, and Mr. Fukuoka attended the conference and performed oral presentations in the Condensed Matter and Solid State Studies session. Through the conference, many active discussion were held with the participants. The next 69th Calorimetry Conference will be held at Santa Fe in the United States.
