The International Workshop on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology 2009 was arranged by Prof. N. H. Luong at Hanoi University of Science and Prof. Y. Nozue at Osaka University. The symposium aimed to discuss recent advances of various kinds of nano-materials from the standpoints of fundamental science and applications. There were 17 oral presentations and 74 poster presentations in two days. After the scientific program, we have a time to introduce Osaka University and our programs to accept graduate students.
