Call for Papers


The scientific program consists of 20 Invited Lectures and 2 Poster Sessions. The official language of the Symposium is English.

Call for Papers:
All participants are encouraged to make a poster presentation. Each contributor of the poster and lecture presentations is requested to submit an abstract to the Secretary of OUMS'09 before November 13th, 2009.

Lecture Presentation:
The time for each lecture presentation is 30 minutes for lecture plus 10 minutes for discussion. Multi-media, overhead, and video projectors are available.

Poster Presentation:
The presentation time of poster session is scheduled to be 80 minutes.
The poster board surface available to each presentation is approximately

90 cm wide x 120 cm high.
We recommend A0 size.( 841mm wide x 1189mm high)

Pushpins, markers, Scotch tapes, etc. will be supplied by the organizers.


Abstract Instruction


  All authors are requested to submit a one-page abstract (A4 size, 21.0 x 28.6 cm, with 3 cm (1 1/4 ) margins at the top, bottom, left, and right) of their contribution by an e-mail or by air-mail before November 13th 2009. Only PDF file is acceptable for electronic submission. The abstracts will be available at the symposium. The price is included in the registration fee.
     The abstract should include the title of the paper (in bold letters, NOT in capitals) followed by the name(s) of the author(s) and affiliation(s), underlining the corresponding author. This is followed by the main text, acknowledgements, and a short list of relevant references. The number of graphs is limited to one. In the left top corner, some space should be left for the editors to insert the poster number. The recommend font is Times New Roman, with the title in 13 pt, the main text in 11 pt Times New Roman font, and the super- and sub-scripts in 10 pt as much as possible.
