Mr.Hameed Sultan Akbar Ali Ashiq Ahamed, a D1 student at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) came to our lab for the internaional internship. He has been working with Dr.Grzegorz (Abo Akademi, Finland) and will be staying with us for 10days to have various experiences.

This year, the members went to Ise&Shima area for the lab rip. We visited Ise Shrine and enjoyed eating various foods at Okage-Yokocho. We also visited Toba Aquarium, which is one of the popular spot in this area.

As Dr.Wibowo Atmanto Heru, the lecturer of Sebelas Maret Univ.(Indonesia) came to our lab again this year, we had a welcome party, together with the cheer-up party for the B4.
They will be preparing for the entrance exams of the grad school held at end of Augst.

Ms.Handayani finished her work as Specially Assigned Assistant Professor this year, and went back to Indonesia.
She will continue her carrier as researcher at P2MM.

D3 student Mr.Tamaki finished his 3 years of doctoral course, and got a Ph.D. degree. He'll be continuing his research at Terao Lab of University of Tokyo from this April.
All M2 students, Mr.Ishimura, Ms.Okimura, Mr.Hasegawa, Mr.Yamazaki, Mr.Yamamoto and Mr.Chen dully received the degree of M.Sc.
Also, B4 students finished all their curriculum, and graduated from the university.

We had an open Mini-symposium making the use of Prof.Ruben Mario's visit to Osaka. Mr.Ruben is a professor of Strasbourg Univ.(France) and Karlsruher Institut fu"r Technologie (KIT Germany),and has been making great achievements in molecular electronics field.
At this symposium, 7 presentations were made by the members of 3 groups including our lab, plus the one by Prof.Ruben. The participants counted up to about 50, students and reaserchers from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering Science.
