Research Projects

  1. Investigation of biochips composed of biomimic nanowells.
  2. Construction of systems that detect biomolecules using nanopore structures.
  3. High-resolution imaging and atomic manipulation of biomolecules using scanning probe microscopy.
  4. Five senses detection systems using self-organized biomolecular devices.
  5. Studies of functional nanoelectronics composed of transition metal oxides using nanostructures, including nanorods and nanowires.

Our department aims to explore 1) biomolecular devices via advanced nanolithography techniques and nanomeasurement techniques; and 2) high-resolution imaging and manipulation of biomolecules toward novel biomimic nanodevices, using scanning probe microscopy. In addition, we study functional nanoelectronics composed of transition metal nano-oxides, including nanorods and hetero-nanowires.
