Registration for Conference
Registration Procedure
All participants of USD9 are kindly requested to make a Registration by April 10, 2015, by:
  1. Paying registration fee by bank transfer,*
    * Those who have applied for the registration fee waiver at the abstract submission should skip this step unless they have received the notification of not being accepted.
  2. Completing the Registration Form with your personal information, payment details, and accommodation reservation. The Registration Form is available in pdf and MSWord formats.
  3. Sending the registration form to usd9@chem.sci.osaka-u.ac.jp.
Registration Fees
  • Regular Registration**:  JPY 30,000
  • Student Registration**:   JPY 20,000
  • Accompanying Person : JPY12,000
Regular and Student Registration Fees include access to all the scientific and social programs, refreshments during the conference, and a book of abstracts. Registration as an accompanying person includes access to all the social programs and the refreshments. The costs for Banquet & Excursion are NOT included in the registration fee or accommodation cost. All participants can attend the Banquet & Excursion without extra charge.
**A limited number of registration fee waivers for students and postdoctoral fellows are available. Those who wish for the waiver need to apply for at the abstract submission.
Registration Fee Payment
Credit cards are not accepted for paying the registration fee.
Payment of the registration fee should be made by bank transfer in Japanese Yen (JPY) to the following account** by April 10, 2015:

**There is no IBAN code for Japanese banks.
Please burden the commissions for both the sending and receiving banks.

Reservation for Accommodation
Reservation of accommodation at Hotel Laforet Biwako should be made by using the Registration Form above. Full board accommodation (bed & 3meals) is available at prices below. 8% VAT is included.
  • Twin Room, single occupancy: JPY 12,200/person/night
  • Twin Room, double occupancy: JPY 8,640/person/night
The accommodation is not included in the Registration Fee. Payment for the accommodation should be done by participants directly to Hotel Laforet Biwako at the time of check-out. The hotel accepts JPY cash and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's Club, JCB, UC, DC, NICOS).

Participants are kindly asked to share a twin room with their colleagues. Leave "shared with ..." on the Registration Form blank if you would like the USD9 secretariat to pick up your room mate.
Cancellation
All cancellations of registration and accommodation must be received by USD9 secretariat in writing no later than April 27, 2015. After this date, all payments are non-refundable. If cancellation notification is received on or before April 27, the registration fee is refundable, minus bank transfer commissions.
