Exploring Molecular Structures
and Properties to Discover
Universal Principles of Nature

Natural science aims to understand natural processes. Fundamental scientific research explores their underlying mechanisms. Chemistry is the study of matter and its molecular structures, reactions, and properties.

Chemistry contributes to the creation of innovative and useful materials based on knowledge of the functions and properties of substances. The pursuit of scientific truth and creativity are the two "wheels" that advance the discipline of chemistry.
